Cats sleep 16-18 hours a day, whenever and wherever they want. Because they are nocturnal creatures, they tend to sleep more during the day and play and eat in the evening hours. This works out nicely when owners work because cats nap while they're away and are well-rested and ready to play when they get home.

Your cat should have multiple beds/sleeping places to relax.  Your cat will develop sleeping habits that will help you decide on what kind of bed would be best - it could be anything from a soft fluffy pillow (might we suggest a ComfyCat© Pillow?), a cat tree with hidden compartments where they can sleep in peace, or a shelf covered in fur that you set up by a window.
